In Part Uno we discussed the slave labor lecture. In Part Deux we discussed the lecture on illicit arms deals. In Part Trois we’ll discuss the silliness of the lecture on animal abuse which undoubtedly has the PETA types swooning.
So Finn and Rose free some space racehorses after watching them being abused by the rich people’s handlers. “At least we hurt those guys,” Finn proclaims. Well, here’s the deal.
First, it’s likely that any of these animals that were freed would be recaptured by the animal handlers within about 15 minutes. So Finn and Rose didn’t really hurt any rich people.
Second, these are domesticated animals. This means that any of the animals that were not recaptured would die from either starvation since they are routinely fed by the handlers and do not have survival instincts to hunt or forage for food, or they would be killed themselves for food by predators out in the wild. So Finn and Rose hurt any escaped creatures by sentencing them to certain death.
Third, the mess created by the animals running through the casino, wouldn’t have hurt the rich people. They’re likely insured so all the damages would be paid for. The people actually stuck cleaning up the mess, would likely be minimum wage earners and day laborers. So Finn and Rose actually hurt the Fight for 15 crowd.
