What does “getting along” entail exactly?

Ignoring the backlash hasn’t worked.  Pretending the backlash doesn’t exist hasn’t worked.  Mischaracterizing the backlashers hasn’t worked.  Demanding the backlash cease its hate hasn’t worked.  Attacking backlashers with bogus insults hasn’t worked.  Now SJWs are calling for everyone to just get along, as a kind of a gentle way to appeal to backlashers not to express their criticism.  I suppose anything is worth a try anyway.

Neil Harrington of Fansided writes:

“Flashforward to the present day and age, with matters worse than ever. The Last Jedi shifted the Force out of balance, leaving a fanbase divided. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Admitting there’s a problem is the first step.
I would like to see those comments published.  You know, to prove that they exist.
Just don’t express your opinion too loudly, or the deal is off.
Unless we’re Holdo.  Then we can fight what we hate all we want apparently.

“Indy, can’t we all just get along?”
