Hey Frank, Are You Starting To Understand The Backlash Now?

Remember back in March, when Yoda puppeteer and voice actor Frank Oz stated that he didn’t understand the Backlash?  I do.

The infamous schills at Collider conducted an interview with Frank Oz.  The legacy SJW media breathlessly parroted the interview across the internet, hoping to shame the backlash into silence with the words of a titan after their efforts at suppressing the backlash failed spectacularly.

One of the other things, for me, what I really like is that Rian is not really taking the status quo with Star Wars. He is expanding the mythology; he is pushing Star Wars in a new direction. Yoda has new powers that he didn’t have in the previous films. For me, I loved it. I was welcoming that stuff with open arms. For you, how do you feel about Yoda being able to do stuff in the physical world? I loved it, but some fans are not as receptive.

FRANK OZ: Yeah, there’s a whole backlash. I couldn’t understand that whole backlash. I didn’t get it. I thought it was a great piece of work. I never understood that backlash. I’m somebody that works with the script, and if the script is there and I believe the script is organic and right for the moment and the character, then that’s kind of all I think about. I don’t think about extra powers or anything, I just go with it. I just don’t consider that really.

I think it’s unfortunate because Rian has created something that is really special with the movie.

FRANK OZ: I agree 100%.

Rian Johnson created something really special.

What Frank didn’t understand at the time, was the fan’s disapproval of having deeply moronic SJW political propaganda shoved down their throats from 1 dimensional characters, and at their own expense.

But a glimmer of that understanding may start to dawn on Frank, now that SJWs are attacking him over another creation of his; Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street.  Maybe.

Earlier today, The Hollywood Reporter published the following interview with Sesame Street writer, who declared Bert & Ernie are gay:

Sesame Street Writer Confirms That Bert And Ernie Were A Couple

Sesame Street fans have always wondered whether Muppet roommates Bert and Ernie were more than just best friends.

Hoping to put the speculation to rest, former Sesame Street writer Mark Saltzman addressed the rumored relationship during a Tuesday interview with LGBTQ lifestyle website Queerty, saying the audience should trust their intuition that the two puppets are a couple.

“I remember one time that a column from the San Francisco Chronicle, a preschooler in the city turned to mom and asked ‘Are Bert & Ernie lovers?’ And that, coming from a preschooler was fun,” Saltzman said in the interview. “And that got passed around, and everyone had their chuckle and went back to it.”

Added Saltzman, “I always felt that without a huge agenda, when I was writing Bert & Ernie, they were. I didn’t have any other way to contextualize them.”

Then later on Twitter, Frank Oz committed the cardinal sin of denying idiot SJWs of what they wanted, and hilarity ensued.

This of course just wouldn’t stand.  SJWs throughout the Twittersphere were instantly alerted to Frank Oz’s transgression against the Collective’s notorious hive mind.

It wasn’t long before SJWs started using the, “But the creator just doesn’t understand” line of logic to get what they wanted.

Wrongly!  How dare he!  Well, he dared.

Soon more SJWs from around the interwebs wielding equally bizarre adjective usage would swarm the Twitter thread.  They even attempted to label old Frank as a homophobe.

Frank attempted in vain to reason with the unhinged SJW savages, which the Age of Aquarius helped to create.

But to no avail.

Don’t you see Frank?  Naive SJWs are entitled to think whatever they please without regard to what actual reality is.  It’s simply awful for you to correct their gross misunderstandings and attempt to educate them.  Simply awful.

Not having been on the receiving end of ignorant SJW wrath on a routine basis, Frank is apparently unfamiliar with the phenomenon whereby SJWs translate whatever you say or write into whatever they want to respond to.   Getting them to read anything, even if such a thing were possible, is utterly pointless.  Beg all you like, but they’ll never respond to what you actually say or write.  Not even once.

Told you so.

The exchange in the thread promises to continue on for several days with pointless conversations and arguments between Frank Oz and the uneducated SJW animals who type away furiously at the puppeteer.  If you want a good laugh, give it a read.

Jeremy from The Quartering commented on this story:

It’s wholly unsurprising that the lesson about two different personalities, with different opinions getting along with each other, escaped the infantilized pea-brains of the barbaric SJW class.

Though not nearly as intriguing as the the quandary over whether or not Deckard is a Replicant, this controversy will rage on long after the creator is deceased, and without regard to anything he actually says or writes.

In the meantime, Frank Oz will likely be required to report back to the Collective for re-education, where he won’t be allowed to express how it feels to have unwanted politics shoved down his throat.

UPDATE:

The SJWs at Vulture are now virtue signaling their outrage over brand new concoctions:

  1. Good thing that there’s still such thing as best friends and not “closet faggots” as these SJWs desperately want to prove otherwise. I don’t think any decent parent will force their children to grow up as a homosexual just because SJWs want to.
