Pay No Attention To That Man Behind The Curtain

Once again the film that professional critics adored for subverting expectations is being accused of plagiarism.  Previously, accusations arose that specific elements from The Last Jedi screenplay were plagiarized from fan fiction.  Later, new accusations arose that editing techniques in The Last Jedi were plagiarized from Escape In L.A.  Then it was discovered that the crystal foxes may have been lifted from a polish arts.  Though I was originally skeptical of these claims, #ZerohGate made me reconsider, since Rian Johnson publicly admitted to having a paid staff member of the production scan the internet for fan rumors.  If they were scanning the internet for fan rumors, what else were they scanning the internet for?

  1. Compare This – Howard Goodall’s cute theme to an in-universe tv show ‘androids’ from Red Dwarf episode ‘Kryten’

To the Michael Giacchino’s recurring theme in Rogue One the next time you see it.

  2. One of the things that annoyed me about TLJ was the constant feeling that I’d “seen it all before” – either in previous Star Wars films or other cinema. Nothing about that film felt organic or particularly imaginative – two things Lucas strived for throughout his work, but Johnson gets praised as a genius? The man’s a piss-ant!

    • Oh, I know how you feel. But gosh, I see such rich irony in the many posts saying: “no words” 🙂
Thank you. My son worked hard to get this done. We love this story!
But the real takeaway is: the closer we get to the release of Episode IX, the more hype folks will be drawn to. The shill media may have toned down their daily vitriol. But I will boycott this film because of writers and directors who have targetted us who have a voice of dissent. LucasFilm has made it clear that everyone from the hardcore fans to the blasé casual like me — none of us are welcome as they prepare to use SW as an indoctrination mill. Pan Sexuals my keester!
